Sandwiches from Around the World

A field guide exploration of sandwiches around the world. The objective of this project was to design a field guide on a topic of our choice. This included applying the L.A.T.C.H. Theory of Organization, identifying a target audience, and creating an appropriate tone. My solution was a field guide that helps determine the difference in ingredients, preparation, and method of consumption of popular sandwiches around the world. It informs those interested in learning about different cultures, customs, and traditions through food.

 
 

The target audience are foodies, adventurers, home chefs, culinary artists, and general sandwich lovers alike. The guide conveys a fun, light-hearted yet informative tone. I used simple yet identifiable icons to highlight key elements for each sandwich: temperature served, contains meat, vegetarian, cooking expertise.
